We meet monthly on Saturday or Sunday and draw and paint somewhere in Aargau! The meetings are posted in Events, in our WhatsApp group and on Instagram and are open to anyone interested.

Basel

One Saturday afternoon a month

‟Current events” is the theme of our new group. A lot is changing in our city. Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings. The monthly sketch crawls are listed in the event calendar. Additional sporadic meetings can be arranged at short notice at the monthly meetings.

Twice a month

We meet approximately twice a month throughout the year, either on a Saturday or Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In summer, we also meet occasionally on Thursdays after work. Locarno

The 3rd Saturday of the month

We usually meet on the morning of the third Saturday of the month, (unless the date is close to a public holiday) for sketching in and around Locarno. Look for our meeting announcement in Events and on IG. We are very happy to have new sketchers, no matter what your drawing skills are, come give it a try and have fun.

Lugano

The first Saturday of the month

Every month, usually on the first Saturday, we host a “Chi c’è c’è” event in Lugano or nearby Insubria. Sometimes it’s linked to an exhibition or museum visit where we’re allowed to sketch indoors. We also organize workshops on drawing, watercolor, and travel sketchbooks. All our Events are shared on social media and urbansketchersticino.ch.

Luzern

Sunday, 1–2 times a month

The Lucerne Urban Sketchers meet on the last Sunday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon somewhere in Lucerne or Central Switzerland. The meetings are advertised on social media, at events and on the website USk-luzern.ch.

The first Sunday of the month

We are about fifteen passionate Urban Sketchers in Neuchâtel. Every month (usually the first Sunday, sometimes the second), we organize a sketching event in the streets of the city or in its museums during winter.

Once a week

Second Wednesday and fourth Sunday of the month

We meet regularly twice a month: on the second Wednesday for UrbanSKETCH at different locations in St. Gallen and on the fourth Sunday for PorträtSKETCH at the old embroidery factory in Wittenbach. Thun

Every third Sunday

Every three weeks on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, we meet in the city to draw together. Whatever your age or experience, just come along, give it a try and have fun sketching!

Fridays, 14.30–16.30

We meet every Friday in and around Winterthur. Details are announced on Wednesdays under Events. Last-minute communication takes place via a WhatsApp group. We are always happy to welcome new Sketchers who just want to join in.

Every Thursday and one Saturday or Sunday a month
