Sketchcrawl inside the Basel SBB train station

We will meet from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the last time this year to sketch:
at 2:00 p.m. inside the Basel SBB train station, at the “meeting point” in the ticket hall  (Link)

There are many different motifs. For example, on the footbridge to the left of the escalator, there is a sheltered spot from where you can sketch passers-by or people taking a break on the seating islands, or shops where travelers linger. The ticket hall itself is also a beautiful space with murals from the 1920s, which can be seen clearly from the footbridge. The station is currently decorated for Christmas. Other motifs include the west wing, the hall leading to the French station, historically preserved rooms that are now used for retail, and much more.

We will meet at 4 p.m. to view the finished drawings. We will decide where to meet on site.
