Drawing people is an important part of urban sketching and a challenge for many. That’s why we practice both quick and sketchy drawing and precise and detailed drawing of people at our meetings by sketching each other. The poses last from 2 to a maximum of 15 minutes, as agreed in advance, and portrait sitting is not compulsory. There are regular breaks in between to lay out the drawings and exchange ideas. Everyone is welcome, and participation is free of charge.

We meet in the spacious and bright stairwell of the old embroidery factory (alte Stickerei) in Wittenbach. Sometimes a technique is specified, but in most cases everyone can and should draw as they wish. Seating and materials (paper, charcoal, colored pencils, pens, etc.) are available, but please bring any special materials yourself. Participation is free of charge.
